If you sometimes feel like you are separated or numb to the love and affection of those around you, if you wonder how come you don’t feel compassion for others, if you feel blocked from expressing yourself to others in a meaningful way, chances are good that you have a heart wall.
There’s no shame in it. It’s perfectly common and, for many of us, just part of being human. In fact, if you don’t have one, you are among a very elite few of people on the planet. So what is a heart wall and what can you do about it?
As explained by Dr. Bradley Nelson, a heart wall is a wall of trapped and impacted emotions that surround our heart – the center of our emotional being — as a means to protect ourselves from emotional injury. The problem being that the wall keeps us from fully experiencing AND expressing our love and affinity for other beings. Essentially, a heart wall costs us our connection to those we most want to be connected to.
A heart wall can also block energy from flowing freely through your body so that it can heal and repair itself effectively.
The good news is that the trapped and impacted emotions that make up your heart wall can be released – one at a time — to effectively clear out the filter. Much like you might clean the air filter of your car so that the energy of love and compassion and emotional connection can flow freely to and from your heart center again.
